Clinical Trials Finance Manager at Tandem Intermediate LLC – Marrero, Louisiana

We are seeking a Clinical Trials Finance Manager to lead the financial oversight of clinical studies across our site network. This role ensures accurate study setup, timely billing, strong accounts receivable performance, and reliable financial reporting.

The ideal candidate brings strong clinical research finance experience and thrives in a cross-functional environment partnering with Clinical Operations and Accounting to drive revenue accuracy and cash flow performance.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee study budgets, billing schedules, and financial setup
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of all billable study activity
• Own accounts receivable integrity, reconciliation, and collectability, ensuring alignment with the general ledger.
• Lead resolution of payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, aged receivables, and billing disputes with internal teams and customers.
• Establish structured AR processes, monitor aging, and partner cross-functionally to accelerate collections and reduce DSO.
• Monitor accounts receivable, aging, and collections performance
• Review protocol amendments for financial impact
• Prepare and analyze study-level financial reports (revenue, margin, forecasts)
• Support month-end close and revenue recognition
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes and financial controls

What You Bring

• 5–8 years of clinical research finance, site billing, or CRO finance experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial budgets and milestone/visit-based billing
• Experience with CTMS and ERP systems (e.g., CRIO, NetSuite)
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
