Job Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Clinical Directors, or designee, the OR Facilitator is an integral part of the Operating Room team who assists in the preparation, delivery and clean-up of patient care during the intra-operative phase. Responsible for the preparation, set-up, troubleshooting and coordination of services and repair for all clinical equipment in the Operating Room. Contributes to the smooth operation of the unit and is a valuable member of the operating room unit. Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred:

• One to three years hospital experience preferred
• Hospital Bio-med/Electrical Safety experience preferred
