About This Position

Description:

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a versatile and skilled Business Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, and operating support of the Sagent LoanServ servicing platform. This role partners closely with servicing operations, compliance, IT, accounting, and external vendors to ensure system stability, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient servicing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage servicing systems, attention to detail, and a process-improvement mindset

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

System Administration:

  • Administer and maintain the Sagent platform, including user access, roles, permissions, and security controls.
  • Configure servicing settings, parameters, and profiles to support business and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades in coordination with IT and vendor support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Release Management & Change Support:

  • Participate in Sagent release cycles, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Assess impact of system changes on business processes and downstream integrations.
  • Execute and support test scenarios in lower environments; validate results before production deployment.
  • Coordinate production changes following established change management procedures

Compliance, Audit & Controls:

  • Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory exams by providing system documentation and data.
  • Ensure servicing workflows and configurations align with regulatory, investor, and client requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, approvals, and changes.
  • Assist with issue remediation and corrective action plans.

Reporting & Data Support:

  • Support system-generated reports and data extracts used for servicing, compliance, and investor reporting.
  • Assist with data validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Partner with downstream system owners (reporting, data warehouse, general ledger) to ensure data accuracy.

Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and Sagent support teams.
  • Open, track, and manage vendor support cases to resolution.
  • Communicate system behavior, impacts, and resolutions in clear, business-friendly language.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Sagent component products (e.g. LoanServ, LoanBoard, Tempo, CARE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CFPB servicing rules, investor guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA), and state regulations.
  • Experience supporting system integrations and data feeds.
  • Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, Apex, C#, VB or other relevant programming languages.
  • Previous experience with mortgage banking software and systems.

COMPENSATION: $28.50 – $35.70 per hour.

Servion has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the company may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a platform administrator or similar role within the financial services industry.
