Junior Accountant at Tennessee Grasslands LLC – Gallatin, Tennessee

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial recordkeeping, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. • Manage accounts payable functions using accounting software
• Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
• Handle accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors
• Review invoices against statements to verify accuracy
• Ensure proper coding and posting of expenses
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors
• Process daily, weekly, and monthly vendor payments
• Perform account maintenance, transaction processing, and reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconcile prepaid expenses and accrual accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support inventory tracking for Food & Beverage, Pro Shop, and special orders
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
