Job Summary:

The Director WIC Product Strategy is responsible for the full ownership, growth, and performance of a distinct and rapidly expanding business segment. This leader will have end-to-end accountability for the business unit’s strategy, operations, and financial results, including revenue growth, margin expansion, product development, and supply chain performance. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring the ability to scale a technically complex, highly configurable business into a disciplined, profitable, and market-leading segment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Own full P&L accountability for the business unit, including revenue growth, gross margin, and operating performance.

  • Define and execute a multi-year growth strategy, identifying priority markets, customers, and applications.

  • Establish and deliver margin expansion plans through pricing discipline, cost optimization, and operating leverage.

  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with cost structure, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.

  • Partner with Sales to grow and retain key accounts, supporting strategic customer engagements, bids, and negotiations.

  • Lead product and technology strategy, ensuring the roadmap aligns with market needs, scalability, and profitability.

  • Build a scalable, cost-effective operating model, optimizing supply chain strategy, third-party manufacturing, and delivery performance.

  • Drive operational excellence, improving configuration management, lead times, standardization, and process discipline.

  • Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering accountability, ownership, and speed across engineering, product, and supply chain.

  • Guide data-driven decision-making, providing regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities while balancing growth with disciplined investment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid project management and budget management skills required.

  • Ability to travel at least 20%.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Proven leadership experience in a technical, manufacturing, or engineered solutions environment.

  • Strong operational and financial acumen with P&L responsibility (or equivalent ownership mindset).

  • Experience managing complex, configurable products or systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to scale a business or product line.

  • Preferred experience with third-party manufacturing or outsourced production models.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
