About This Position
POSITION PURPOSE: Full-time and part-time sifts available. Responsible to assure meal(s) assigned is palatable and prepared in orderly, timely manner, using established procedures in response to requirements and as directed by Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others may be assigned:
- Responsible for prompt and efficient organizing, preparing and serving meals as
- directed.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of food prepared, for the accuracy of menus
- and diets as served and for honoring resident’s known likes, dislikes and food
- preferences.
- Able to organize tasks to perform with accuracy, in a safe manner and with
- concern for equipment and environment.
- Informs Supervisor of equipment and dietary supply needs.
- Participates in in-service and continuing education to remain current of requirements.

Requirements:QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess ability to learn and follow directions.
- Possess the ability to judge quality of food prepared and aesthetic presentation
- Capable and willing to decipher and follow guidelines provided for preparation and
- service of meals.
