Performance Creative Designer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Performance Creative Designer in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of design, data, and performance marketing, where creativity directly drives measurable business outcomes. You will create high-impact visual and motion assets for digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. Working in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment, you will design creatives optimized for A/B testing and continuous performance improvement. Your work will influence how audiences engage with brands, turning insights and data into compelling visual narratives. Collaboration is central, as you will partner with media, strategy, and content teams to align creative direction with campaign goals. This is an opportunity for a designer who enjoys combining storytelling, motion, and analytics to build ads that capture attention and deliver results.

Accountabilities
  • Design high-performing static and motion creative assets, including ad sets and landing pages, optimized to improve key marketing performance metrics.
  • Produce motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns tailored for social platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Edit and adapt video content into platform-specific ad formats, ensuring optimal performance across different aspect ratios and audience behaviors.
  • Collaborate with media and content teams to align creative execution with audience insights, campaign strategy, and performance objectives.
  • Support internal marketing initiatives by producing engaging creative assets that strengthen brand visibility and differentiation.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs while adapting messaging and visuals for different audience segments.
  • Design, execute, and iterate on A/B tests using CRO and experimentation tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and Crazy Egg.
  • Conduct research and usability analysis, including heatmaps and user testing, to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Continuously refine creative output based on performance data, feedback, and experimentation results.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while communicating progress and aligning with internal and client stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, ideally focused on performance-driven creative or conversion optimization.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in motion graphics and short-form video production.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
  • Experience with video editing and motion tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of performance marketing principles including A/B testing, CRO methodologies, and data-driven design.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, curious, and experimental mindset.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI tools and automation applied to creative workflows.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range in Canada (approximately 70,000 to 95,000 CAD, depending on experience).
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Employer-paid benefits for employees and partial coverage for dependents.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment across Canada.
  • Paid time off including unlimited PTO, company holidays, birthday leave, and end-of-year break.
  • Mental and physical wellness support, including therapy access, fitness programs, and wellness subscriptions.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contribution.
  • Strong focus on learning, experimentation, and career development in a performance-driven culture.
