ROLE: Counter Associate
Uphold the core values of the organization and its mission while consistently presenting and promoting brand integrity, product quality and customer service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by handling counter transactions in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Acknowledge all customers with a friendly smile and is highly responsive to needs and requests.
- Communicate clearly with each customer in a friendly and courteous way.
- Participate in team service to ensure each customer is served quickly.
- Resolve customer problems with a sense of urgency.
- Accomplish all work assignments with excellence.
- Wrap and stock desserts and supplies.
- Place desserts out for display and monitor inventory of items out for sale.
- Keep workstations and areas neat and clean.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break (not including required breaks).
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
