Golf Course Maintenance Tech at Interlachen Country Club Inc – WINTER PARK, Florida

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has part- and full-time opportunities available on our Course Maintenance Team. While experience is desired, we are willing to train the right candidate.

SUMMARY: As a Course Maintenance Technician, you will work on a team of skilled individuals responsible for maintaining the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and lakes to ensure an enjoyable experience for members and guests alike.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safely operates golf course maintenance equipment including weed eaters, trimmers, walk mowers and others as needed.

· Inspects, services, and maintains equipment per schedule including washing after each use, fueling up at the end of each day, and immediately reporting any malfunctions to the Golf Course Mechanic or Supervisor.

· Conducts self in a proper manner around members and guests on the course.

AVAILABILITY: Must be able to work early mornings, weekdays, one half day on weekends, and occasional holidays.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

· May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Requires occasional bending, lifting, stretching.

· Must be able to work in the heat and sun for prolonged periods of time.

· Ability to work well with others as well as independently.

· Willingness to learn.
