DUTIES
TRU invites applications for a Power Engineering Instructor. The successful candidate will instruct 4th and 3rd Class Power Engineering Program classes to the Provincial curriculum and supervise students in the lab/shop.
The successful candidate will be required to develop curriculum and training materials for the classroom and lab/shop
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification
- Minimum 5 years' post certification experience
- Proficiency in computer skills.
ASSETS:
- 1st or 2nd class certification
- Provincial Instructor's Diploma Certification or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Wide variety of hands on work experience
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to work as a team member
Pay Band
$2,575.50 - $2,575.50 ( Sessional Faculty - Academic (per credit) )
