This role offers an exciting opportunity to act as a technical and operational liaison, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of supplier integrations within a fast-growing business travel platform. You will be responsible for monitoring APIs, diagnosing and resolving production issues, and validating system changes, directly impacting the quality of service delivered to millions of travelers. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Supply, to troubleshoot complex incidents and implement sustainable solutions. You will play a key role in optimizing operational workflows, documenting processes, and tracking metrics that drive supplier performance. - Monitor API connections and integrations with supply partners to proactively identify data quality, accuracy, or workflow issues.
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve both real-time and recurring production problems, including undocumented errors and data discrepancies.
- Partner with Engineering to QA new supplier integrations and system changes before and after deployment, ensuring fixes are effective and edge cases are addressed.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Supply teams to prioritize high-severity incidents and expedite resolutions.
- Lead or support incident management processes, documenting root causes, impacted workflows, and all relevant technical details.
- Maintain and update knowledge bases, documentation, and standard operating procedures to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Develop metrics to monitor incident response, recurring issues, and supplier performance, informing ongoing system enhancements.
- 3+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving API or third-party integration issues in a production environment.
- Strong technical skills with experience in data analysis, APM tools, and API technologies such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, webhooks, and websockets.
- Experience supporting QA and validation workflows alongside Engineering teams, including reviewing API behavior and confirming fix effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical issues for diverse stakeholders and drive cross-team resolution.
- Customer-oriented and outcomes-driven, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational or technical challenges.
- Bonus: familiarity with supplier ecosystems, inventory or distribution systems, supplier onboarding, or automation of support processes.
- Competitive base pay: $80,000 – $95,000 USD, plus potential equity or variable pay (OTE).
