Outside Service Representative at Transwest Inc – Frederick, Colorado

We are seeking a motivated Outside Service Representative to maintain existing business relationships and develop new relationships to expand our service business. In this position you be representing Freightliner and Western Star.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regularly call on established accounts to assist with customer relationships and sell Boyer Trucks products and services.
• Establish and qualify new accounts.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
• Regularly travel within designated territory.
• Maintain familiarity with all vendor products.
• Maintain daily contact with major accounts assigned to you.
• Complete tasks within the designated budget for travel and entertainment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Activities require a full range of motion including handling, lifting, manual dexterity, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Position requires standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• Position requires the occasional ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
• Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicle's.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days.
• Ability to work independently and with a group.
• Ability to travel.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and close sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented
• Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Truck and/or mechanical experience or knowledge is preferred.
