About This Position
Job Description:
The Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, procedural development, and routine functions of the Inpatient or Outpatient Pharmacy. Ensures accurate and timely delivery of medications and the training of staff in their job related duties. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.
Required Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills
Required Experience:
Work Experience:
Three years hospital or retail pharmacist experience.
Two years supervisory experience required.
License/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas Pharmacy License required
Annual IV certification if supervising sterile product preparation.
Education and Training:
Graduated from accredited School of Pharmacy.
12 hours of ACPE approved continuing education per year.
