The ideal P&L Manager is a hands-on, people-focused leader with a strong background in food manufacturing. As a P&L Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing packing and loading operations to ensure the safe, efficient production of high-quality products that meet customer demand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, hiring, training, and developing all Packing & Loading department employees
• Supervising day-to-day packing and loading operations while maintaining audit-ready conditions
• Scheduling production to align with sales demand and business needs
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and sanitation standards (GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, GFSI)
• Managing packaging supply inventory and coordinating shipment of samples
• Maintaining required documentation for regulatory compliance and audits
• Coordinating calibration schedules and verification activities
• Representing the department on Food Safety and Safety & Sanitation teams
• Becoming PCQI certified and supporting continuous process improvement

• Associate’s Degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new processes and take on new responsibilities
• Experience working in regulated food safety environments preferred
• Ability to pass a Qualitative Respirator Fit Test and perform physical job requirements
