Case Worker

Our Case Workers work collaboratively to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering environment to victims of domestic violence. By providing comprehensive programming and interventions, our specialists proactively engage our most vulnerable patients to provide connection and support. We view our specialists as a critical component of the care plan and recognize the incredibly positive impact they have on the journey and outcomes of our patients and their families. A Typical Day

As a Case Worker within our domestic violence services system, a typical day might include the following:

  • Conducting intake assessments within 24 hours of assigned cases and implementing targeted case plans.
  • Assisting clients in achieving goals as developed in their individualized case plans.
  • Advocating on clients' behalf to external social service agencies to secure vital resources.
  • Providing direct services, crisis counseling, information, and referrals when answering the hotline.
  • Documenting all hotline calls, incidents, and observations to maintain comprehensive records.
  • Entering daily end-of-shift logs to ensure seamless communication with the next staff person.
  • Providing transportation for clients as needed and attending all required meetings and trainings.
  • Collaborating with program leaders on other duties assigned by the Program Coordinator or Casework Supervisor.

To Be Considered

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a closely related behavioral health field is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior training or knowledge regarding the dynamics of domestic violence is highly valued.
  • Licensure & Certification: Must have completed a 40-Hour Domestic Violence training, or be willing to complete it within six months of hire.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency as a bilingual English and Spanish speaker is preferred for this role.
