The Member Data Integrity Team (DIT) is responsible for creating and maintaining member and customer records and order transaction processing. The team also manages the American College of Cardiology (ACC) member and customer database, dues billing and collection activities, marketing and discount code creation, and product code set ups. The position supports the Member Care Team by responding to phone calls and emails as needed, received via the organization’s global email, along with supporting Member Giving activities.

The Associate, Member Data Integrity is responsible for all aspects of data maintenance and customer service related to membership dues renewal processing, profile updates, exception reporting, and duplicate record management. This includes but is not limited to providing support to members and customers by phone and email as needed, data integrity and database maintenance, documenting procedures, researching, and resolving issues with customer financial data, and assisting with data projects. Additionally, the Associate, Member Data Integrity is responsible for providing training to incoming ACC staff on the Association CRM and serves as the backup for managing the mailing list rental program.


Responsibilities


  • Assist with various aspects of membership Dues Billing operations including processing membership dues, contributions, and other payments in the member database.
  • Proactively engage with database maintenance efforts and data entry projects to include coordinating with cross organizational teams.
  • Manage data exception reports to correct data anomalies and identify trends.
  • Support members by phone, email, and in-person, providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide direct support to the Chapter Affairs Team to review and reconcile chapter dues payments.
  • Serves as a direct contact to assist with Membership Renewal calls and inquiries.
  • Maintains knowledge of and supports member giving campaigns.
  • Assists with data entry projects, to include coordinating with cross organizational teams and providing guidance to ensure successful completion.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, the Director, Member Data Integrity and Giving Support and Membership Division Associates on all aspects of proactive database maintenance and integrity including maintaining, tracking, resolving discrepancies, and reporting on data exceptions.
  • Perform analysis and research to assist the Director, Data Integrity and Giving Support in identifying deficiencies and implementing processing efficiencies regarding data and database maintenance.
  • Provide procedural and database training to incoming staff.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships across the ACC to ensure departmental Teams have access to information required to deliver quality customer care.
  • Manage merging duplicate records and associated projects.
  • Manage member/customer profile data updates.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data entry, membership, customer service or similar service center unit.
  • Experience with Association Management Software (Salesforce, Fonteva preferred).
  • Analyzing data and report development experience using Power BI (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure business needs are articulated to internal and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented, highly efficient, ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Proficient mathematically and in preparing statistical reports.
  • Must have ability to follow documented step by step instructions with little to no errors.
  • Must be a dependable, flexible, high energy, self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Some travel is required.
