Patient Transporter - Emergency Department at AnMed – Anderson, South Carolina

The Transporter safely transports patients of all ages throughout the facility at the direction of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or ED RN. This employee is cross trained to assist the staff by running errands, cleaning and restocking the department.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Basic Cardiac Life Support or ability to complete at time of hire; has documented experience as a transporter or custodial experience or willing to be cross-trained at point of hire; can properly lift or transfer patient weight; good communication skills.
