About the Role:

We are seeking an Unarmed Security Personnel to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport RI. The main end result of this job position is to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property. As an Unarmed Security Personnel, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, controlling access to restricted areas, and responding to emergency situations. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and activities that occur during your shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state Drivers license
• Must posses a current Secret Clearance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous security experience
• 
  
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of clients and their property
• Control access to restricted areas and maintain a secure environment
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and activities that occur during your shift
• Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and other team members

Skills:

As an Unarmed Security Personnel, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, visitors, and other team members. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to work independently to monitor and patrol assigned areas, control access to restricted areas, and respond to emergency situations. Additionally, your experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring will be beneficial in this role.
