Civil Project / Sr. Project Engineer (Transportation) at Barton & Loguidice – Somers, New York

We are currently seeking a Project / Sr. Project Engineer to join our Transportation practice area in our Somers office.

Duties primarily include engineering related to bridge/culvert and highway design projects. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Project oversight and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications, and client communications and meetings.
• Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below:
• • • Providing conceptual input on the development of design projects.
    • Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
    • Providing quality control reviews of design.
    • Proficient in technical writing.
    • Potential for field review of construction progress at construction milestones.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4-10 years of bridge/highway and transportation consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EIT or licensed PE is a plus.

Estimated Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000/year.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
