Performance Objectives

The successful applicant will have expertise in specifying, designing, implementing and testing automation framework.

In this role, you will:

• Automate tests with BDD practice (Cucumber, Pytest).
• Execute automated UI tests in multiple environments.
• Design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure the quality of our product.
• Translate existing manual regression test cases into automated tests for backend with Python and Web apps using Selenium.
• Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.
• Proven automation expertise with Python, Selenium, Cucumber, Pytest, Junit, REST.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
• Exposure in identifying the system performance issue
• Must be detail-oriented and strive for product excellence.
• Ability to solve difficult problems with innovative and maintainable solutions.
• BE/B.Tech in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Experience using tools such as Jira, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience with Networking/Cloud technologies.
• Understands fundamentals of agile methodologies, including iterative development, SCRUM, UAT, and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with complex products.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile, and nimble environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and lead others, if so required.
