Sales Associate in Bellevue, Washington at Puetz Golf Superstores

Job Description

The role of a Puetz Golf Sales Associate is to maximize sales by recommending the right product for each customer's personalized needs while facilitating an exceptional customer experience. A successful sales associate will have up to date knowledge of all golf products, a full comprehension of golf terminology, the ability to demonstrate merchandise, ability to perform golf club fittings and remain educated about all sales and promotions. Sales staff must also be flexible and knowledgeable enough to work in other store departments, as becomes necessary.

The Sales Associate Will:

• Evaluate customers' needs and make product recommendations based on each customer's individual needs.
• Perform golf club fittings using the latest launch monitor equipment.
• Assist staff with merchandising and sales floor layout, as needed.
• Be able to quickly and accurately assess merchandise availability via computer database.
• Will participate in on-going training programs to continuously improve product knowledge and job skills.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service skills. Listening, understanding and responding to customer's needs is imperative for success as a Puetz Golf sales associate.
• Up to date knowledge of current club trends and comprehensive understanding of all golf of equipment.
• Experience with a POS register system and ability to learn and master all equipment necessary to run the store.
• Excellent documentation skills and the ability to read, write, and report figures accurately.
• Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Required Experience

• 3-6 months of related experience

Pay: $21.30 - $35.00 per hour
