The RoleAs a Senior Motion Graphic Designer at CardNexus, you’ll be in charge to bring our platform to life, with animations, interactive components, and playful gamification mechanics that create an exciting user experience.You will work closely with the CPO, design, and development teams to embed motion design and gamification principles into the platform, ensuring users feel rewarded, motivated, and excited as they engage with CardNexus.We want playful, colorful, and engaging interactions—elements that make every click, transition, and animation feel satisfying and meaningful.
What You’ll Do

• Bring the platform to life – Animate UI components, interactions, and transitions to create a smooth, dynamic user experience.
• Design gamification animations – Implement rewarding, playful, and interactive elements that make the platform engaging for users.
• Develop interactive components – Work with engineers to design motion-based micro-interactions that improve usability and delight users.
• Craft onboarding and tutorial animations – Help new users quickly understand the platform with well-designed animations and walkthroughs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure motion design enhances both UX and business goals.
• Optimize performance – Ensure all animations and motion elements are lightweight, smooth, and functional across devices.
• Push creative boundaries – Stay ahead of motion trends in gaming, UI, and interactive media, bringing fresh ideas to the team.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in motion design, interaction design, or UI animation, preferably for digital products.
• Proficient in motion tools like After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or Framer Motion.
• Experience in gamification, playful UI, or gaming UI design.
• A deep understanding of motion design principles, timing, and physics-based animations.
• Experience collaborating with engineers to implement animations effectively.
• Ability to balance creativity and usability—designing motion that’s fun but also enhances the user experience.
• Experience in interactive component design—adding delight to user interactions through animation.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments where priorities can shift quickly.
• Excellent English communication skills—able to explain motion concepts and ideas clearly to an international remote team.

Bonus Points⭐ Experience with real-time interactive motion using tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, or WebGL.⭐ Background in gaming, collectible platforms, or marketplaces.⭐ Understanding of TCG players, collectors, and investors.⭐ Previous role as Art Director, or Creative Lead.
