Key Responsibilities:
- Support the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care
- Supervise the nursing management team, ensuring high standards of patient care
- Serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees
- Oversee compliance with all nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present monthly reports on operational performance and patient care metrics
Qualifications:
- Education: Must possess a postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field (e.g., healthcare administration or business administration), or have a written plan to obtain these qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered State Board of Nursing license
- Certifications: CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
- Experience:
- Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
- Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.
- Strong background in patient assessments, family engagement, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
- Previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
