About the Role:

The Floating Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities within the Saginaw Division. This position is responsible for ensuring that all areas are well-kept, creating a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors. The Floating Janitor will be tasked with performing routine cleaning tasks, responding to immediate cleaning needs, and supporting other janitorial staff as required. By effectively managing cleaning supplies and equipment, the Floating Janitor contributes to the overall operational efficiency of the facilities. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and maintain a flexible schedule to cover different locations as needed.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure all areas are adequately supplied.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events or meetings, ensuring cleanliness before and after.
