Gordon & Partners is a law firm that stands up for the injured and we fight to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve! We are seeking to hire a full-time Legal Assistant who is highly organized, has a stable employment history and administrative experience to join our growing business in our consumer class action department at our law firm.
Responsibilities

• Opening files
• Complete and scan forms
• Draft and send letters
• Maintain clients' files
• Request/follow up with consumers for documents solidifying potential consumer law claim(s)
• Contact clients to obtain physical status
• General clerical duties, including mail room work
• Filing and sorting of documents
• Uploading pdf documents to electronic discovery platforms
• Data entry
• Copy/scan documents
• Collect incoming mail floor
• Scan mail into proper files in case management system (ATO)
• Occasional meetings with clients
• Translate for clients when meeting with paralegals/attorneys (Spanish preferred)
• Phone calls, such as speaking with potential clients and clients
• Cover phones for reception, as needed
• Assist in whatever is needed
• Additional duties as assigned
• Legal Assistant experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Type:

• Full-time

Pays:

• $18 to $20 an hour

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
