About This Position
Title: Eligibility Hearing Officer
Pay: $37.10 hr.
Location: Richmond, VA
Duties:
- Review appeal request, case documents and other appropriate evidence.
- Prepare and conduct client eligibility appeal hearings and render written appeal decisions.
- Apply knowledge of laws ,rules, and regulations in the decision process.
- Apply knowledge of administrative procedures for conducting hearings, due process standards, and legal research.
- Conduct legal research; engage in thorough, accurate, and objective analysis.
- Independently manage caseload to ensure timely compliance with deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service.
