About This Position

EXPERIENCED RN- EP LAB

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Education
      • A diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
    • Experience
      • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence in field of practice. Must be ACLS certified. Cath Lab, EP Lab, and/or ICU RN experience highly preferred.
    • Physical
      • This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
      • Requires - mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature, exposure to disagreeable elements (dusts, fumes, odors, water, etc.) exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs.
  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Performs as circulator during electrophysiology procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist and/or Radiologist and the supervision of the department manager and/or director. This position requires independent judgment, integrity, initiative and excellent critical thinking skills. He/She must ensure a safe, organized, and efficient working environment in the surgical area. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
