Student Health Care Worker at Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana – Crown Point, Indiana

Under the general direction of the Physical Therapy Supervisor and in accordance with established policy and procedures the Student Healthcare Worker performs multiple jobs in the department. This includes data collection, assisting educational classes, assisting to clean equipment, and answering the phone in a courteous and professional tone and forwarding messages to the appropriate personnel.

High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior direct patient contact preferred.

Healthcare education pathway preferred

Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities necessary to interact with patients, physicians and other hospital associates.
