Position SummaryThe Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing all safety programs across office and field operations. This role ensures OSHA compliance, promotes a strong safety culture, and partners closely with project teams, subcontractors, and leadership to minimize risk and prevent workplace incidents.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Administrative Duties- Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company safety programs
- Ensure all employees complete required safety training and certifications
- Track safety data, prepare reports, and present findings to leadership
- Manage PPE inventory and distribution
- Maintain and apply knowledge of the company’s safety management system
- Oversee OSHA and project safety compliance across all job sites
- Conduct job hazard analyses, inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety incidents; perform root cause analysis
- Recommend corrective actions and safety improvements
- Support project teams with owner, GC, and subcontractor safety issues
- Manage return-to-work programs and incident follow-up processes
- Inspect job sites, equipment, vehicles, and work areas regularly
- Partner with superintendents and foremen to enforce safe work practices
- Deliver and coordinate safety training programs and orientations
- Conduct OSHA 10/30 training, safety meetings, and site orientations
- Lead new hire safety onboarding
- Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Maintain OSHA 510 certification (renewed every 4 years)
- Promote a strong, proactive safety culture across all levels
- 3–5 years of construction safety experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction) certification required or ability to obtain
- Experience in drywall or rainscreen construction preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field teams
- Hands-on field presence required
- Spanish fluency preferred
