About This Position

Responsibilities:

Friends of Children and Families is seeking a qualified individual to provide supportive counseling services to clients; complete required assessments; assist individuals and families by helping to articulate goals and providing needed information.

Location: Ivey Lane- NCF

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Masters in Social Services field(Preferred) from an accredited college or university.
Two years experience working with children and families.

Skills:

Provide supportive counseling services to individuals, families and/or groups.
Provide case management services (information, plan referral and linkages) as needed.
Develop and maintain clinical records and program documentation according to contract standards (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, termination summaries, etc.)
Coordinate services with other professionals and para-professionals.
Conduct community outreach as needed.
Participate in the quality improvement process.
Submit documents within the required timeframes.

Benefits:

As a full-time associate you will also be eligible for coverage under the provisions of our benefits program. This includes 80% coverage for employee Health, 60% Dental, 60% Vision and 100% Life insurance. Benefits are effective 60 days from your start date.

In addition to the insurance benefits, you will receive 10 PTO days and 5 Sick days annually. Both PTO and Sick time are accrued bi-weekly. Also, Friends observes 9 holidays.
