CAREGIVER/CNA/HHA - Consistent Hours at Platinum Care Group – Chicago, Illinois

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 90-year-old client in a residential facility setting. The schedule for this role is Sundays, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. This position focuses on companionship, personal care support, safety supervision, and assistance with daily routines. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and comfortable supporting a client with mobility challenges, confusion, and a need for close supervision to promote comfort and safety.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Provide companionship through conversation, music, reading, and engagement in activities.
• Assist with personal care tasks including toileting support, hygiene assistance, feeding support, dressing, and grooming reminders.
• Support safe mobility using a wheelchair and provide standby assistance at all times.
• Monitor safety closely and help prevent wandering or falls through active supervision due to client being a high fall risk.
• Assist with meal preparation and meal support, including preparing food for easier eating when needed.
• Encourage participation in light activities and walks as tolerated.
• Perform light housekeeping such as cleaning bathroom and kitchen areas, organizing food, disposing of trash, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Observe and report changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns to facility staff and the care team.

Requirements

Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
