Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and maintain construction sites by clearing debris and eliminating hazards
  • Set up and remove barricades and safety equipment as directed
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment
  • Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision
  • Assist carpenters, concrete crews, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials as needed
  • Perform basic measurements and mark reference points
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
  • Wear required PPE at all times
  • Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents promptly
  • Support crew leaders, foremen, and superintendents with daily jobsite tasks

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous construction or manual labor experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
  • Valid drivers license may be required for certain roles
  • A background check will be completed as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions, dust, and noise
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
  • Regular use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding
  • Strict adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements at all times

Schedule
  • Monday Friday
  • 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (approximately 45 hours per week)
  • Occasional early mornings, evenings, overtime, and weekend work may be required based on project needs

Work Location & Travel
  • Based in Mankato, MN
  • Projects located across multiple remote job sites
  • Travel required depending on business needs
  • Some overnight or out-of-area travel may be required
  • Per diem and travel accommodations provided when applicable
