Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern at EMT International – Hobart, Wisconsin

The Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern will support the Quality Department in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and processes. This role provides hands-on experience in problem-solving, process improvement, and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure products meet customer and company standards.

Quality Engineer Intern Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection checklists, and process control plans.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for non-conformances.
• Participate in audits of internal processes and supplier performance.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Assist in calibration tracking, verification, and recordkeeping.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Department.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.

Quality Engineer Intern Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, or lean manufacturing concepts (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
