About This Position
Summary: Increase the overall distribution, consumer activation and case volume of Capitol-Husting Co. and Allstate Liquor & Wine Co. Brands. Manages the business of the brand portfolio and supplier communication to result in a positive relationship and growth. Recommends and develops beverage programs for both on and off-premise. Leads our organization’s internal and external education and selling skills of the brand portfolio. Works directly with the sales team, customers and supplier partners on a daily basis in the trade driving distribution, execution and case/revenue growth of brand portfolios.

Supplier Management
- The PBM will work with the General Manager to enhance the development of key portfolios by doing the following:
- Manage pricing, including pricing grids, monitor profit margins and work with the supplier to adjust where needed.
- Responsible to forecast, monitor and manage proper inventory levels.
- Maintain and recap all supplier chargeback information to ensure any financial support is captured properly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and work to provide information to ensure any local market support/investment is collected in a timely matter.
- Manage a programming calendar by supplier/brand and work with the supplier to achieve objectives.
- ‘Develop and communicate programs to the sales team with appropriate pricing to deliver goals.
- Track brand programs and new items to ensure objectives are attained.
- Assist with managing point of sale materials to ensure proper amounts are available for market execution.
- Work with each supplier to ensure all key information, selling tools and training is available to sales team.
Divisional Sales Support
- The PBM will assume leadership of key responsibilities relating to the Sales Division and the Sales Team.
- Work in the market with our sales team to ensure we are properly executing supplier objectives & standards.
- Help manage, assist and overview the Supplier/Sales Team work-with/market calendar.
- Update and communicate any sales incentives to ensure all programs are passed on to the organization.
- Includes providing any reports/trackers needed for sales team to understand their opportunity.
- Sales Meeting preparation, coordination and presentation.
- Input and Communicate Meeting Schedule, Process Samples, Prepare Materials for Meeting, etc.
- Help manage, assist and input to maintain our company’s Product Industry Rating Database
- Manage all aspects of your portfolios to ensure sales team maximizes performance and attains supplier goals.
Enhancing Education & Selling Skills
Support in the development of Spirit Brand knowledge for our sales team.
- Weekly work withs, riding with the sales team.
- Monthly training seminars during General Sales Meetings
- Key Account presentations
- Trade sampling events & portfolio selling events in the trade

EDUCATION:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Knowledge, skills, licenses, certifications etc:
- Sales Knowledge: Candidates must have an understanding of sales and sales experience, knowledge.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work well independently and in the context of team environments
- Must possess excellent listening skills, be open minded, exhibit patience and focus on continuous improvement
- Must maintain a professional behavior and appearance at all times
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access and an ability to master our internal sales reporting system.
- Attention to Detail: Working independently to accomplish tasks quickly and accurately and showing concern for all aspects of the job. Quality of work must be maintained at a high level – accurate, thorough and neat. Must have the ability to accomplish work on-time.
- Organizational Skills: Candidate must be able to demonstrate high levels of organization, multi-tasking and be able to prioritize work duties to attain deadlines.

Attendance and Dependability: This is a full-time position, hours vary, must be willing to maintain flexible schedule, complete work in a timely and accurate manner willing to stay until the work is complete
