We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager – Risk Management & Controls to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in a highly regulated environment. This role requires a strong foundation in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation, ensuring projects are delivered successfully while maintaining compliance, governance, and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Establish and drive risk management frameworks, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and continuous monitoring.
- Proactively identify project, technical, and operational risks, and implement effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and compliance teams to ensure risk controls are embedded across the SDLC.
- Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication, including executive-level updates.
- Utilize tools such as Jira, MS Project, and ServiceNow for planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements, including documentation and audit readiness.
- Drive Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies, adapting approaches based on project needs.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and remove blockers to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Develop and maintain risk dashboards, KPIs, and reporting metrics to track project health and risk exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Technical Project or Program Management.
- Strong expertise in Risk Management, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control frameworks.
- Proven experience managing complex, enterprise-scale technology projects.
- Hands-on experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with governance, compliance, and audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify risks early and drive proactive mitigation strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or PSM.
- Experience in regulated industries (Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc.).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, IAM, or enterprise risk frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience building data-driven dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Experience working with financial institutions or payment platforms.
- Exposure to risk automation tools and GRC platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
