Job Description

Senior Product Marketing Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and developer experience, translating complex database and infrastructure capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for technical audiences. You will play a key role in shaping how developers understand, evaluate, and adopt a fast-growing PostgreSQL platform powering transactional, analytical, and real-time workloads at scale. Working in a remote-first, globally distributed environment, you’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, developer relations, sales, and demand generation teams. This is a hands-on execution role where you will own messaging, launches, and developer-focused storytelling. You’ll be responsible for turning deeply technical product context into high-impact content that drives adoption and competitive differentiation. The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and deeply technical, with a strong emphasis on clarity, precision, and developer trust.

Accountabilities
  • Own developer-facing messaging by translating complex technical concepts into clear narratives that resonate with engineers and technical decision-makers.
  • Lead end-to-end go-to-market execution for product and feature launches, including positioning, content creation, internal enablement, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence assets such as battle cards, technical comparisons, and positioning frameworks.
  • Create high-quality developer-first content including blogs, landing pages, product documentation, launch materials, and technical explainers.
  • Partner with demand generation and marketing teams to scale product messaging across SEO, paid channels, web, and social campaigns.
  • Support sales enablement by producing technical demo materials, competitive insights, and field-ready messaging for complex deals.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment across all marketing outputs.
Requirements
  • 4–5+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or database-related products.
  • Proven experience owning and executing end-to-end product launches, including messaging, content development, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for developer and technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to collaborate directly with product managers, engineers, and sales teams to extract and validate technical details.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, including writing content and building assets independently.
  • Familiarity with developer marketing principles and understanding of what resonates (or fails) with technical audiences.
  • Experience or comfort using AI tools to support research, content iteration, and competitive analysis while maintaining accuracy.
  • Background in technical domains such as databases, SQL, or cloud infrastructure is highly valuable.
Benefits
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility across the United States and other global locations
  • Competitive compensation with long-term stock option opportunities
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage (varies by region)
  • Flexible PTO policy and generous family leave benefits
  • Additional time off perks, including summer Fridays in August
  • Monthly WiFi stipend to support remote work setup
  • Professional development budget and learning resources
  • High-growth environment with strong exposure to product, engineering, and go-to-market strategy
