Electrician at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation – Dillingham, Alaska

PURPOSE OF JOB: To install, develop, repair and maintain all types of Electrical Power Systems to National Electrical Code specifications within BBAHC facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Completion of nationally accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
3. Current licensure in the State of Alaska as a Journeyman Electrician.
4. At least five (5) years’ experience in commercial industrial and residential settings.
5. Able to maintain, trouble shoot, and repair clinic facility systems.
6. Able to work independently during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in the field and in the office.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in both a normal office setting and in various settings in-and outdoors in BBAHC's Dillingham facilities. Must be able to see, hear, speak, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. May be required to travel to villages in small, unpressurized aircraft, boats, and snowmobiles. This is a Full-Time position. Attendance in accordance with the BBAHC Attendance policy is a job requirement.
