Job Summary:
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for injection molding machines, assembly automation, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.

As a Senior Manager of Maintenance, You Will:

  • Co-lead Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams, aligning priorities with plant objectives
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen technical skills, leadership capability, and career growth
  • Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and provide continuous feedback and support
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Lead process optimization for secondary assembly, including automation, vision systems, ultrasonic welding, and post-molding processes
  • Support the design, implementation, and improvement of assembly cells and workstations
  • Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve process issues and improve product quality
  • Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, and training materials
  • Provide limited support to molding operations with a primary focus on downstream processes
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for injection molding machines, automation, robotics, and auxiliary equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and production loss
  • Ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities
  • Lead capital projects for new equipment, automation, and facility improvements from concept through implementation
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful execution
  • Lead quoting activities for new and modified assembly processes, including cost estimation and equipment specification
  • Support commercial teams with technical input during RFQs and customer quoting
  • Define, track, and report KPIs including OEE, downtime, MTTR, PM completion, scrap, rework, and project performance
  • Use data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Present performance results to leadership and recommend strategic improvements

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years in injection molding and secondary assembly operations
  • Proven leadership experience leading and developing indirect personnel, including technicians, contractors, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of secondary assembly processes such as ultrasonic welding, pad printing, mechanical fastening, and automated assembly
  • Working knowledge of injection molding equipment and tooling, supporting downstream operations
  • Proficiency in CAD systems, CMMS platforms, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
