About This Position

Description:

The role of Marketing Database & Technology Assistant supports the firmwide marketing and client development teams by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of data within the firm’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform, InterAction. The role also supports marketing technology initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of firmwide marketing and business development operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

InterAction (CRM)

  • Conducts ongoing data integrity efforts to ensure contact and company records remain accurate, complete, and current.
  • Reviews and processes data change tickets, applying updates to existing records.
  • Works with marketing and client development team members to develop mailing lists for events, alerts, announcements, and other communications.
  • Maintains CRM activity data to support business development initiatives and reporting needs.
  • Works closely with the Marketing Database & Technology Manager to prepare and deliver regular analytics and reporting for business development liaisons.
  • Supports the development, documentation, and implementation of CRM best practices and standardized procedures.
  • Assists with other InterAction-related projects as needed.

Marketing Technology & Administrative Support

  • Assists with marketing technology projects, system updates, and process improvements that strengthen the overall marketing infrastructure.
  • Participates in testing and evaluating new tools, features, or workflows prior to firmwide adoption.
  • Provides administrative and documentation support for marketing technology initiatives and process development.
  • Supports data governance efforts to ensure consistent application of data standards across marketing systems.
  • Updates website content and data as needed to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with firmwide standards.
  • Publishes and maintains website updates, including adding news and insights, to keep content accurate, timely, and aligned with the firm’s standards.
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Law firm work experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with CRM databases preferred; familiarity with InterAction is an advantage.
  • Experience working with website platforms preferred; familiarity with RubyLaw is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced training program and able to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client, firm, and personnel information.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work in order to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to function well both as a team member and independently, demonstrating good judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills with the ability to communicate well, both orally and written, at all levels of the organization and with team members in other offices.
