POSITION SUMMARY: (WHAT, HOW, WHY)

The Senior Outlet/Sustainability Manager is responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of outlet store performance and advancing the company’s sustainability agenda. This role ensures outlets operate at the highest levels of efficiency and profitability while implementing initiatives aligned with corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. The position requires a balance of retail operational expertise, strategic thinking, and sustainability leadership to drive measurable business results and create long-term value.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Retail Management, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit retail operations, outlet management, or sustainability program leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in improving financial performance while advancing sustainability objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in P&L management, operational process improvement, and strategic execution.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change across complex organizations.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting standards, sustainable retail practices, and circular economy principles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Outlet Management

  • Direct all aspects of outlet store operations, including sales, profitability, inventory control, and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize store productivity, financial performance, and operational consistency.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting standards to monitor and improve outlet results.
  • Provide leadership and direction to outlet management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Sustainability Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives across outlet operations, including waste diversion, recycling, and energy efficiency programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into core business practices and supply chain processes.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sustainability performance against defined corporate ESG goals and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation through sustainable practices, partnerships, and innovations.
  • Represent the company in sustainability-related forums, industry groups, and stakeholder engagements.

Cross -Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure outlet and sustainability strategies are aligned with overall corporate objectives.
  • Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Marketing to support strategic initiatives that enhance both business outcomes and sustainability performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on retail outlet optimization and sustainability best practices.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform long-term strategic planning.
