About This Position

JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS
    JOB SUMMARY
      Functions as a team member and performs various clinical and clerical functions in the ED department. Job duties include simple treatments, providing personal care, ensuring that patient surroundings are clean and orderly. Maintains confidentiality of information regarding patients, personnel and hospital business.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      Professional & Technical Skills
        Experience gained through any approved nursing assistant program and/or prior nursing assistance experience is preferred. Appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care areas and personnel.
      Education
        High school graduate or GED highly desired.
      License(s) or Certification(s)
        Past hospital experience preferred.
      Other Skills or Requirements
        Basic computer skills preferred.
      Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
