State Farm Agency, located in Portland, OR has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Representative. Insurance experience is not required as we will train the right person.

ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in July 2023 and has grown to a strong team of 8 talented professionals. Before opening my own office, I worked in the human services field and got my start in insurance by joining a friend who had just opened her agency. That experience inspired me to pursue the Aspirant Program and eventually build my own agency.
I'm a proud graduate of the University of Oregon, where I graduated top 10 in my class. My husband and I have lived in this area our entire lives and are deeply rooted in the community. I've also been a foster parent to five children, and our home is currently shared with our two cats.
We offer great perks for our team, including free snacks and drinks, casual Fridays, team bonuses like happy hours and breakfasts, and three weeks of combined PTO for sick, vacation, or personal time. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and close sales.
- Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
- Develop new service opportunities with both existing and new clients.

Requirements:
- Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain prior to start date).
- Life & Health license (must be able to obtain prior to start date).
- 1-2 Years of Sales Experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas required.
- Enthusiasm and belief about the role insurance and financial products play in people's lives.
- Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior.
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening.
- Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.
