Chocolate Experience Host

Location: Downtown Nashville

Job Summary

The Chocolate Experience Host is responsible for delivering engaging, informative, and entertaining classes that educate guests on the history and legacy of Goo Goo Cluster and the brand while creating a memorable, hands-on chocolate experience. This role combines scripted storytelling, customer service, retail sales, and live demonstrations, including guiding guests through the “Make Your Own” candy bar experience. The ideal candidate is energetic and confident speaking to large groups.

Key Responsibilities

Lead interactive classes for small and large groups, sharing the history, legacy, and craftmanship of Goo Goo Cluster and the brand.
Confidently speak in front of large groups maintaining enthusiasm and guest engagement.
Guide customers through the Make Your Own Candy Bar experience, providing clear instructions and creative inspiration.
Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
Assist customers on the sales floor, assist MYO bar team and retail floor associates during peak times and during downtime including product recommendations and check out support as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom, stations, MYO Bar and retail spaces.
Collaborate with retail staff to manage tour flow, crowd control, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable addressing small to large groups.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or tourism preferred.
Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and confidently communicate brand history and product knowledge.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods, 3-6 hours, and assist with hands-on activities.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work onsite and offsite events. Including working scheduled hours outside of normal store business hours.
Ability to lift to 25lbs
