Summary:
Vighter is seeking several energetic and outgoing Healthcare recruiters (entry level) to join our team. Recruiters are responsible for identifying and screening potential candidates for a multitude of healthcare, administrative and managerial roles for a variety of government contracts. Recruiters must be approachable and engaging, with an ability to sell both the organization and the required job or career path.
Recruiters specialize in sourcing and attracting talent from our general and internal candidate pools gaining competitive advantage and fueling the company’s growth through successful placements. Recruiters filter and screen candidates using the ADP applicant tracking system, searching for certain keywords and phrases, and evaluating their resumes and cover letters to make sure they have the right qualifications for a given job.
Healthcare recruiters should also possess certain skills that can help them excel in the role:
• Communication skills help recruiters develop relationships with employers and job seekers and give persuasive sales pitches to potential employees.
- Recruiters should be detail-oriented to properly evaluate applicants’ qualifications, including any necessary credentials.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Healthcare recruiters should also have strong multitasking and organizational skills. To do the job effectively, recruiters must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and keep track of multiple applicants
Some recruiting operations include attracting candidates for contract bids where the contract has not yet been awarded. Must be able to work with a certain amount of ambiguity. Sometimes, Vighter will not have all of the information or rates about a project before recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and attract candidates by using the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS), databases, social media platforms, and in person recruiting events and hiring fairs.
- Screen candidate’s cover letters, resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable personnel selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Onboard new employees to become fully integrated.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.”
Experience & Education:
- Experience recruiting in healthcare or experience recruiting for government contracts is preferred. Certified Healthcare Recruiter is strongly preferred.
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, conversational, competency, stress).
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone screening, interviewing, reference checks, referrals).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making skills.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a recruiter is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
- Government contracting experience highly preferred.

- Knowledge of regulations (HIPAA/Privacy Act) regarding the confidentiality of patient medical records and information as well as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Duty Hours / On-call Requirements
- Generally speaking, this is a day shift position with some work, mission dependent, at night and on weekends. As a salaried employee, it is important to be able to be available to speak with potential candidates at their availability.
- Our business hours represent a general framework, from which you may earn a degree of flexibility to report early if sourcing a candidate works nights and who is only available in the morning. Conversely, your supervisor may approve limited late starts if the candidate works days and is only available at night.

- Goal oriented, working to fill awarded positions while also working to identify potential candidate polls for Business Development (BD) opportunities. Supporting the BD efforts helps Vighter to win the contracts that result in open positions to fill.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for more than 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and carry up to 10 ft.
- Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.
- Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.
- Must undergo urine drug screen (UDS).

- As required to support mission.
