About This Position
We’re looking for a Professional Services Implementation Manager to lead customer implementation and integration projects from service installation through production cutover. This role serves as the primary consulting resource on assigned projects, partnering closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful, well-executed deployments.
This person will combine project leadership, technical expertise, and customer enablement to deliver high-quality implementations while supporting ongoing technical account management. If you’re organized, technically fluent, customer-oriented, and comfortable operating independently, this role offers meaningful ownership and impact.
What You’ll Do
Implementation & Project Ownership
● Lead project management of implementation and integration project activities from Service installation through final production cut-over
● Demonstrate a clear understanding of the business impact behind technical configuration decisions, ensuring implementations align with customer goals and operational workflows
● Gather and analyze requirements for Service integration and implementation projects
● Work independently with limited guidance, acting as the sole consulting resource on a project
Scoping & Documentation
● Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) for customer requested custom feature enhancements
● Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Knowledge base by providing technical content
Technical Expertise & Training
● Provide technical expertise throughout the implementation, testing, client training, and deployment phases, ensuring problem identification and resolution.
● Conduct billable customer product training
Customer Management & Cross-functional Collaboration
● Design integrations and system setups in a way that drives real customer success, adoption, and long-term value, not just technical completion
● Manage customer escalations and drive issue resolution with the support of cross-functional team members
● Collaborate with the sales, customer success, and other relevant teams as needed
What You’ll Bring
SaaS Implementation Experience
● Experience working in a SaaS environment with CRM or ecommerce platforms
● Proven experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders
● Minimum of 4 years in a technical training or teaching role, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Strong Project & Organization Skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
● Familiarity with Agile software development and delivery environments
● Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to work independently and drive progress without constant oversight
Technical Skills
● Ability to write basic SQL queries
● Familiarity working with APIs and structured data formats (.xlsx, CSV, JSON, .txt files)
● Experience using tools such as Postman or Insomnia, and Metabase for database queries
Bonus Experience
● Information Technology degree or equivalent experience preferred
● Experience in apparel, footwear, and accessories industries
● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
