About the role

We’re looking for a Lead Cabling Technician who can take ownership in the field, lead crews, and deliver high-quality installations across multiple project sites.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys travel, and takes pride in leading work that matters.

What you'll do

  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, codes, and quality expectations
  • Maintain accurate documentation (as-builts, test results, progress updates)
  • Manage tools, materials, and inventory on-site

Travel Expectations

  • This is a travel-intensive role supporting projects across multiple locations.
  • We try to get everyone home for the weekend but sometimes projects may require extended stays (weeks)
  • Per diem and travel support provided in accordance with company policy

If you prefer staying local every day, this likely isn’t the right fit.
If you enjoy working on large-scale projects and seeing different job sites, you’ll thrive here.

  • Experience leading crews or acting as a senior/lead technician
  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Hands-on experience with tools like fusion splicers, testers, and termination kits
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • BICSI Technician certification (or similar) highly desired
  • Experience in industrial or large commercial environments

Physical Requirements

  • Work on ladders and uneven surfaces
  • Lift up to 35 lbs regularly
  • Stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
