About This Position

Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern supports the Forrest Health Marketing & Communications team by assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and service-line initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in healthcare marketing while supporting day-to-day marketing activities, projects, and event-related efforts. The intern works closely with the marketing team to ensure marketing and event initiatives align with branding and messaging standards.

Performance Expectations:

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and community or internal events
  • Support event logistics, planning, and on-site coordination as needed
  • Help manage project timelines, deliverables, and campaign organization
  • Assist with creating and updating marketing materials, content, and social media
  • Support advertising, media, and promotional activities
  • Ensure marketing and event materials align with Forrest Health branding and messaging standards
  • Provide general administrative and project support as needed

Education/Skills:

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in healthcare marketing, communications, and event planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media, design tools, or event coordination is a plus
