About This Position

Our Associate Pediatric Dentist are responsible for evaluating and treating primary and secondary teeth with dental procedures tailored to benefit their patients’ long term oral health. They also make use of a multitude of behavioral techniques in a respectful and empathetic manner, to create warm experience for both child and guardian. Our Associate will ensure the practice’s clinical standards are met by providing high quality dental care in an efficient manner. The perfect candidate will be comfortable traveling to our Terrell and Mesquite offices 3-4 days a week.

Pediatric Dentist Requirements:

  • DDS/DMD from an accredited university
  • Active Texas State Dental Board License
  • Pediatric Certificate from an accredited U.S. Dental University
  • BLS/PALS Certification
  • DEA Certificate
  • Willing to commute to Kaufman and Dallas counties.
  • Comfortable with one Saturday a month
  • New Grads welcomed!
  • Comfortable with sedations

Pay:

  • Collections Percentage based


Pediatric Dentist Job Duties:

  • Always follow and abide by all federal, state and municipal laws, rules and regulations regarding employment and the practice of dentistry and the ethics of the dental profession
  • Partner with other specialists and general dentist to provide the best optimal dental care for children
  • Encourage best utilization of clinic staff in all clinical procedures with consideration of the extent of the team member's training and ability, and in compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the Dental Practice Act of the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
  • Assist in the training and development of dental assistants, and help in improving quality and efficiency of the Practice operations
  • Provide Executive Management team and Practice Manager with any support they may need in communicating requirements to the Practices team, including mentoring and training team members in order to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Strive for the highest standards of care, professionalism, and respect with each patient at each visit in order to ensure positive patient experiences
