MARKETING COORDINATOR - PT 24 HOURS at First Boston Tenpin Inc – Dorchester, Massachusetts

Boston Bowl Family Entertainment Center is seeking a creative, energetic, and hands-on Marketing Coordinator to support marketing efforts across our two busy family entertainment centers. Each location features a restaurant, multiple bowling lanes, a large arcade, and dedicated group event spaces for birthdays, corporate outings, team-building, school groups, and private parties. You will focus on local creative creation, in-center advertising, and coordination with third-party marketing partners to manage our social media channels, company website, and overall online reputation. You will produce high-quality, on-site content and in-center promotional materials that showcase the fun atmosphere, food, bowling, and arcade experiences while working closely with external agencies or freelancers for digital strategy, paid advertising, and broader online execution. Your work will directly support increased foot traffic, party and group bookings, and revenue growth across all areas of the business, helping position Boston Bowl as the #1 family fun destination in the market.

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). 2–4 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on creative content creation and hands-on execution (family entertainment, restaurants, hospitality, or retail preferred).

· Proficient in content creation tools: Canva/Pro, basic video editing (CapCut, iMovie, or similar), photography, and graphic design. Experience coordinating with third-party vendors, agencies, or freelancers for digital/social execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a fun, family-friendly tone. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects across two locations with minimal supervision. Familiarity with the local market and community organizations.

· Previous work in family entertainment centers, bowling alleys, arcades, or casual dining. Experience supporting group/event sales, birthday party promotions, or local community partnerships preferred.

Compensation:

· Competitive hourly rate $28–$38 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated creative ability. Eligible for performance-based bonus tied to measurable results (party/group bookings, foot traffic lift from in-center promotions, and online reputation metrics). This is a PT position - 24 hours per week with flexibility around peak event times.
