This role is a dynamic leadership opportunity for an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a high-performing team of financial advisors and retirement specialists. You will drive team performance, client satisfaction, and business growth through effective coaching, goal setting, and operational oversight. The position involves hands-on sales leadership, mentoring, and strategic planning to ensure team objectives are met while delivering exceptional client experiences. You will leverage consultative sales approaches to deepen client relationships and increase assets under management. - Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial advisors and retirement plan specialists to achieve individual and team sales objectives
- Establish and drive goals aligned with departmental and organizational objectives
- Provide professional financial advice and retirement planning guidance to clients, recommending products and solutions to meet their needs
- Use consultative and persuasive sales techniques to grow accounts and increase assets under management
- Ensure high standards of client service, satisfaction, and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Oversee recruitment, performance management, training, and professional development for team members
- Manage team budget, P&L responsibility, and capacity planning to optimize performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years in sales and marketing within financial services or insurance, including at least 5 years as a financial planner/advisor
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required; Series 26 and 65/66 to be obtained within six months
- Resident state Life, Accident, and Health license, or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and present information to clients and internal stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess trends, resolve client issues, and drive performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with financial planning tools preferred
- Supervisory experience and ability to lead team initiatives and mentor staff
